Availability & tariffs
Rentals run Saturday to Saturday from April to September. Shorter breaks are welcome during the rest of the year when the start date can be more flexible.
Prices given on this page are for private family and group holidays only. If you are planning a commercial event or seminar please contact us for prices and a list of additional services we can offer to support your event.
Prices are quoted in UK £ per week and cover the first 15 guests in your group, an additional fee applies per guest per week for 16 and more guests up to the maximum of 23 guests. All rentals are for exclusive use of the chateau and its garden and prices include :
- exclusive accommodation in the castle in 12 individually designed bedrooms - 11 double / kingsize & 1 single
- Egyptian Cotton bed linen
- one set of towels per guest
- Wireless Broadband access
- 2 travel cots & high chair available
- 2 hours maid service per week
- exclusive use of terrace, gardens, all-weather tennis court and swimming pool (heated May to September)
- electricity, central heating & hot water (central heating September to April)
- plentiful supply of logs for wood stoves
- security deposit required.
Discounts available for 2 and more weeks and for smaller groups out of the summer season.

- no compulsory holiday insurance - recommended but at guest's discretion

Cheese and Wine evening - bringing the very best of the Dordogne to you - our local experts will select a range of regional wines and cheeses for you to enjoy in the magical surroundings of Chateau Marouatte.
Chef for the Evening - we would be delighted to introduce to you a fantastic local chef who can create a meal from the very best local produce. You supply your own wine - we do not charge a corkage fee. Specialises in home made soups, local delicacies such as Foie Gras and whole lamb banquets.
Stuffed Whole Pig - we can arrange a whole suckling pig to be baked for the day at the local bakery (after the bread !) and served stuffed with cous cous at the chateau. The meat falls off the bone and is delicious - ideal served with a crispy salad. The feast serves 25 people so if there are less than this in your group we suggest you have it early in your week so you have time to enjoy the leftovers.
